Something has got to give…

I have seen people go from selling tampons and pillowcases to being directors of growth for AI and marketing heads for self driving autonomous vehicles.

And good for them.

Yet, unlike me, clearly nobody ever grilled them what exactly these disparate things had to do with one another? as a means of preventing them from having their career.

Me? I was peppered with questions, down to whether or not I was ready for a full-time job (coming from a contracting background).

More’s the pity.

Thirteen years years after Hipmunk and not a single FTE offer. (Read that again.)

Something is very, very misaligned here.

Something has to got to give, and especially now because well, thirteen years on and it’s just plain immoral to pass on me at this point.
